Zoom H1n

Zoom H1n Portable Recorder, Onboard Stereo Microphones, Camera Mountable, Records to SD Card, Compact, USB Microphone, Overdubbing, Dictation, For Recording Music, Audio for Video, and Interviews

For ultra small, portable, and convenient recording, I use and recommend the Zoom H1n. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket for recording from a wired lavalier microphone, and it’s built-in condenser microphones are good enough for remote recording.
