I have three important things to quickly share with you while you wait for my next episode about how to refresh your podcast branding.
#1: As you've probably noticed, I had to take another hiatus from publishing episodes of The Audacity to Podcast. But it's for good reasons! I don't have an exact return date, but I expect to be back in August or September.
This is my son's summer break, so I've been choosing to spend more time with him than with my podcast. No regrets and no apologies there!
#2: What work hours I've had, I've been devoting mostly toward finishing the next revolution of My Podcast Reviews, which I've codenamed “v2,” and will launch this summer! I'm so excited about v2 and I think you'll be interested even if you never receive ratings and reviews! v2 features an all-new design with many long-requested features and some surprise radical new features. I've been sharing sneak peeks with my existing members and they love what they see!
v2's pricing structure will change, and there will be a new membership tier with plenty of new features I think will be worth the larger investment especially when you realize that you can stop paying for certain other things! To repeat a hint at why you might want to watch for v2: you'll get great use from it even if you never receive a podcast rating or review! And to ease some worry, I have no intention to raise prices for current active members who choose to keep their current membership tiers. So if you haven't signed up, yet, or you've canceled your previous subscription, you still have some time to lock in your membership before the prices go up. Plus, the new membership options will give you more control over your subscription. So instead of jumping from a 2-podcast plan to a 7-podcast plan merely to add only 1 more podcast, there will be a better option for you!

- Please click here to sign up (you need to create a new account every year).
- Verify your account through the email they send.
- After verifying, click here to visit the nominations.
- Select “The Audacity to Podcast” under “Peoples Choice,” “Education,” and “Technology.”
- Nominate any other podcasts you'd like under the other categories.
- Click “Save Nominations” when you're finished.
You need to do this only once, and by July 31, 2023.
