You Need Passion, Organization, and Dialog (POD) to Podcast

Welcome to the first-ever episode of The Audacity to Podcast! I share my vision, talk about the POD of podcasting, and more.

The POD of podcasting

  • Passion—you have to be excited about what you have to say! That passion will drive you to find or generate content without much labor
  • Organization—be professional, have your sites and information together
  • Dialog—big media is one-way, social media is social! Connect with your audience and they will grow

Share you thoughts!

I have the next thirty-five episodes planned out, but you can change that by telling me what you want to hear!

I'm really looking forward to the coming episodes.

I'm going to be an Audacity user for a while so the help is greatly appreciated.

Even though I've been podcasting for 2 years, there's lots more to learn so I'm really looking forward to The Audacity to Podcast! (Those "ahhh's" you mentioned in TAP001 – that's me.) I'm particularly interested in faster workflow with Audacity, and also maximizing audio quality.

I'm subscribed in iTunes already!

Oh my gosh, Daniel, this is such an amazing start, I am definitely subscribed Sir!

Though I use Adobe Audition only, I do know people in my family, that would rather use Audacity, but don't really get it, but hey, its free!

Can't wait for the next show!

I love what you are doing with your podcast theme. I've look heigh ans low for a podcasting theme… No luck. I eventually purchased a premium theme and spent many hours recoding o make it fit. When beta testing is available, please let me know. Great work!

Great show! Cliff Ravenscraft is a tough act to follow and I haven't been satisfied with any other "podcasting" podcast besides podcast answer man until i listened to yours.

Keep up the great work. I just listened to ep. 1 and 2….I'm already anticipating #4.
