November is National Podcast Post Month (#NaPodPoMo) and I decided to participate by not only publishing a daily podcast episode, but launching a whole new show!
Journey inside the podcasting business with me, Daniel J. Lewis, host of The Audacity to Podcast. I'll share behind-the-scenes peeks at how I run my podcasting business of helping podcasters. You'll learn about the tools I use, how I delegate and work with others, how I market, and more!
This show will run every day during NaPodPoMo, but may even continue after that.
The show is so new, raw, and authentic it doesn't even have cover art yet!
Despite all the ways Anchor is currently bad for podcasting, I chose to use Anchor for the quick simplicity.
Comment below or tweet me if there's something specific you'd like to know about running a podcasting business!
Hi Daniel! I’m enjoying your Anchor segments. I left a Callin for you – did you see it?
I did. Thank you!
You’re welcome. Do you ever publish Callins on your Anchor station?
Not yet.
I would like to know how actually set it up as a registered business. Being online, from home and my co-host/owner lives in a different state, I’m completely lost on what to do. It seems all of these factors have a play in what you should do to set it up legally. I’ve been trying to do research online, and can’t find much for my specific situation. And obviously I can’t afford to pay $400ish an hour to have a lawyer explain it to me.
Thanks for the question! I added it to my list.
Thanks Daniel for being a champion of podcasting and helping newbies and seasoned pros have more fun and impact with Podcasting. I have produced 2 podcast for about10 years, Travel Business Success and another with my wife, Women’s Leadership Success. About 150 shows total. We enjoy the interviews and helping our audiences a lot. Where we get bogged is in producing the show notes/ blog posts and publishing the show. Do you have some people you can recommend that can do this for us? Off show is fine. This would allow us to double or more the shows we can put out. We have a solid blog post template, Word Press platforms and use Bluburry for our audios. Thanks in advance for your assistance. 🙂
Look at http://ProPodcastSolutions.com. They offer audio editing plus show notes at some levels, but maybe they could help you with only show notes.
